So busy...

Ahh...I haven't been on in awhile to check out what everyone's doing. I've been working on my wreaths and such for an upcoming craft show! I concocted myself an *adult* beverage, been on Facebook all night, and now I'm going to post what I've been doing. My previous post had some wreaths on it that I will show again here, but they are 100% complete now, so they look a smidge different. Enjoy! =]

This is one is of my wedding colords, I love peacock feather as well.

I know we're all sick and tired of winter, but I thought this was cute.

An all yellow, spring wreath with butterfly and flower embellishment.

For some reason, it's not letting me upload anymore pictures, so this is all you get! =]

Some of my creations...

Hi everyone! It's been quite awhile since I've posted anything, but I've been busy trying to get my tiny business together. The wreaths I've posted on here is what I'm trying to sell, I love doing them! I've sold a few, but am trying to get my name out there a little more. I really need to post on Etsy...anyways, hope you enjoy! =] This is an 18" bright colored Easter wreath with small egg embellishments.

This is a 10" local school colored wreath.

This is a 13" Fourth of July wreath (will include embellishments, but haven't cut them out yet =/)

This is a 9" wreath that was inspired by my wedding colors (teal, black and damask).

Wedding pictures

I just thought that I would post some pictures from my wedding from last month. I had made a couple of posts about the things I had made for it. So, here was the big day. It was raining all morning. It eventually stopped, but was overcast all day. That's alright, those are the best days to take pictures! I had the best day ever, everything was exactly how we wanted it!

BRIDEZILLA!!!

My bouquet. I looooved this.

Our cake...I made the candle holders...from the Dollar Tree! And I made the topper!

My hair...

My bridesmaids...

My groom...

Getting pictures taken from the photographer...
Crossing the highway...

I really couldn't have asked for a better day! =] =] =]

Wedding Goodies IV

It's been absolutely FOREVER since I've made a post! I don't know when I first started posting about my DIY wedding, but it's only 2 weeks away from today! The time has really gone by so fast and I'm just thankful that I started planning and crafting very early! So, today I'm posting our aisle pieces that will be hung (hopefully, the church doesn't know that we're using Command strips yet =/) down the aisle.
Step 1: Take a plain old styrofoam ball.
Step 2: Using this (or something similar...my fiance and I found this in our garage and thought, HEY! it'll work! haha)
Cut it in half, to save money this is what I did, I thought I could just do it on my own and not have to buy extra crap I didn't need! =]
Step 3: Cut any ribbon you want, I used white and silver for a wedding, but you could change the ribbon to match your decor or use holiday colored ribbon if you want to hang them around the house. I cut my ribbon 4 inches long, looped them, then used pins to hold them in place to the ball.
Step 4: Cut a ribbon or rope to the length of your liking and secure to the back with 2-4 pins for extra support. Sorry I don't have more pics of the process, I was too enthralled I guess to take any more.

So, that's it, that's what will be down our aisle as we get hitched, in only 2 weeks!!! I really just can not believe it. But anyways, thanks again for stopping by my blog, I know it's not amazing like some, but it's what I can do on my wee little budget and income. I'm still learning and trying to find new and fun things to do and make things my own! Have a great weekend...I'm off to my bachelorette party! =] =]

Wedding Goodies (pt. 2)

Here is a part of our centerpieces. I bought these jar candles at the Dollar Tree and the ribbon half off at Hobby Lobby (my mecca!) haha. Anyways, we are going to put two of each on each table with another taller candle holder, which I'll have to post later (also Dollar Tree) and flowers as well.

Wedding Goodies

I've been trying to make as much as I possibly can for my upcoming wedding. So far, I've made our flower girl pail:Our unity candles and stands (only the main one is shown here):

and the bridesmaids' hair clips:

I've also got our ring bearer pillow done, but I'm being lazy and don't want to get it at the moment, I'll have to post it later. We are starting to stamp and assemble our invitations now. It's been a long time coming, we've been waiting on stamp ink to be half off at Hobby Lobby, because I'm cheap =], and it never was until this past week. So, we started at it. It's been fun so far getting everything done and it's mainly all homemade. Next comes the centerpiece assembly. I'll post that later when I start that. It's pretty much all being made from Dollar Tree items and Goodwill too.
