Lions and Tigers and Brides...oh my!

So, it's been a little while now since my bridal shower, which was a Wizard of Oz theme! It's my favorite movie, so I just had to. I tried to make and come up with ideas that weren't directly just pictures of the movie or what not, so I made most of my decorations, because everywhere I looked there were just pictures of dorothy and the other characters. I just wanted things to be represented.
This is my maid of honor (left) and me (right). We wanted to look like Dorothy, so we wore our blue and white plaid shirts, also red shoes, but you can't see them.

The basket represents Dorothy, I added and blue and white ribbon to it to represent her dress. The poppies I found at Wal-mart, the big one in the basket, I made. You can't see it very well, but it's pretty big.

Here is the "Lollipop Shoppe" based off of the Lollipop Guild. Everyone received "lollipop" soap as a favor and I tried to make cookie pops, some turned out, but they aren't ideal for mass production when you're on limited time!

Here is the lollipop tree I made...

I really wanted this area to be as colorful and mis-matched, because Munchkin Land was very colorful.

This represents the lion, tin man, and scarecrow...

Ruby red slippers of course! I bought some white heels at Goodwill, painted them red and black, and covered them with red glitter. I looove them!

The Emerald City...
