April Fool's idea

I just saw on Sweet Charli a cute April Fool's Day idea and it made me think of another. We made "fried egg sundaes" where I work for the residents. We got vanilla pudding and smeared it on a plate, thick enough so you can't see through to the plate, but not clumpy either. Then we put a peach half on top of it. When you see it, it looks like a fried egg....they thought it was pretty cute and it's really tasty! I just wish I had a picture.

Wedding Goodies

I've been trying to make as much as I possibly can for my upcoming wedding. So far, I've made our flower girl pail:Our unity candles and stands (only the main one is shown here):

and the bridesmaids' hair clips:

I've also got our ring bearer pillow done, but I'm being lazy and don't want to get it at the moment, I'll have to post it later. We are starting to stamp and assemble our invitations now. It's been a long time coming, we've been waiting on stamp ink to be half off at Hobby Lobby, because I'm cheap =], and it never was until this past week. So, we started at it. It's been fun so far getting everything done and it's mainly all homemade. Next comes the centerpiece assembly. I'll post that later when I start that. It's pretty much all being made from Dollar Tree items and Goodwill too.

Easy art

Here is a piece that I made using toilet and paper towel cardboard rolls. I got the idea from another blog, and I can't find which one to mention it. Sorry. I painted the rolls white, which you can paint whatever color to match your home. Then I smashed them in half and cut about five from each roll and started to hot glue like crazy. I had 5 or 6 more paper towel rolls that I could've added, but after this much, I was over it. =]

So, I was on a blog the other day and saw that they used I love this website! You just enter a bunch of words and it flips them up, down, and all around for you to make a custom art thing-a-ma-jig. You can change the font and the color to your specifications. I made one to go in the bathroom with different words associated with a bathroom (rubber ducky, suds, squeaky clean, etc). Then I'll frame it to put it on a shelf (which still needs to be made) to go along with the decor in there. I think I may make one for each holiday, because it's so easy! Here's this one (I hope the link works!)

Valentine's Candles

I had these candles just sitting around in the way not getting any use. I almost was going to throw them out, because I was so sick of looking at them. But then I decided, in my new fit of crafting addiction, that I would turn them into something I could use later on. So, that's what I did. I took some old yarn/stringy stuff that I've had for 7 or 8 years and randomly stumbled upon and re-fashioned them. I think they look cute and now I have some more v-day decor, because I was seriously lacking! =]

That's the finished project. Not too elaborate, but now it has a purpose and I can put them away after V-day. Actually, right now I still have them up for Easter. =]

Easter Topiaries

I have gotten this idea from several blogs, I've added some different things. Please excuse the gaps and hot glue strings hanging in some of the pics...I'm not perfected yet. But, I thought they turned out pretty good.

I used a mix of glitter and pastel eggs on this one. The first one I made I used mottled eggs, but I didn't get a picture of it. It didn't have as many eggs as this one.

This one I used more vibrant colors and added a little extra to it since it was a gift for my best friend.

Pretty Sure

I think I've finally found my style for my blog! I've gone through about three or four options and several hours of my fiance helping me get to where I have to get what I wanted it to look like! He's pretty much amazing, because I would NEVER have been able to do it by myself.
