Hoo are you?

NightOwlCrafting

1. Do you wear glasses or contacts, if so for how long?

I've been wearing glasses since the third grade and contacts since eighth grade.

2. What was your favorite board game as a kid?

I'm not too sure about this one, I had a few, but didn't play them that often. I liked to play school more than anything, but I'd have to say....Trouble.

3. What is a word you use all the time?

Apparently...

4. What is your favorite day of the week?

I would have to say Friday...idk why.

5. Did you graduate high school from the town you grew up in?

Yes I did!

X's and O's

I'm really out of control with all of the V-day crafts I'm making! haha...but I love it, so that's all that matters! So here I've made some x's and o's to display around the house. Very easy!
Supplies:
- 2 "x" and 2 "o" chip board letters
- scrapbook paper
- any embellishments that you want
- Mod Podge
- glue gun
- scissors
First I traced each letter on whatever paper I wanted to use for that particular one. Then cut out.

Next, I used Mod Podge to glue it on.

Then, I added some embellishments. That's it...simple! All I had to buy were the letters and they were 2 for $ 1.00 at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago. I love them! =]

I switched this one up a bit and used two different papers.

I'll be linking this up to these spectacular blogs:

Hoo are you?

NightOwlCrafting

1. Are you fond of cooking?
I love to cook, but hate cleaning up dishes! So, we tend to eat out quite a bit. My husband and I both are terrible about washing dishes! =/

2. What kind of food do you prefer eating when you are out?
It seems that we usually lean towards steak or somewhere like Chili's/Applebee's. But I love Italian and Mexican food!

3. Which do you prefer, sweet or salty?
I have an absolute terrible sweet tooth!

4. Where is the last place you ate out at?
The last place we actually went to eat was Outback, I believe. However, we ordered pizza last night!

5. What's for dinner tonight?
Well, I broke down and made dinner, because we got about 6 inches of snow today and hubby didn't want to go get anything. I made something along the lines of an enchilada lasagna. I don't really know what it's called, but it was yummy. And we also had Mexican rice! =]

Epsom salt V-day candle

Check out my new weekend link party "wonderful weekend" going on now until Sunday night! Let's get the word out and get some more link ups! =]

Here's another easy Valentine's idea that anyone can do!

Supplies:

- candle

- Epsom salt

- glitter (optional)

- Mod Podge or glue

- ribbon, decals (optional)

- clear coat

I added about 3-4 tablespoons of Epsom salt into a bowl and added some pink glitter to jazz it up a bit. I started painting on the Mod Podge to the desired height of the candle. Then sprinkle your salt/glitter mix onto the candle. Keep doing this all around the candle.

Next, I added some pink, fuzzy string that I had to jazz it up a little more.

Finally, I sprayed the salt/glitter with a clear coat, I'm hoping this will help it stay on longer. Then I added a single white heart to give it even more jazz! This is extremely easy and cheap! I already had the candle and string from about 8 Valentines ago. All I had to buy was the salt. Simple and cute. Enjoy!
