I saw these bad boys on Pinterest and thought I'd give them a shot. For me, they were FREE, I didn't need to buy anything extra, so that was nice. I made one for each woman in the family for Christmas. I thought they turned out pretty cute! :) Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Garlic Mushrooms
I made these for the first time last night for our "steakhouse" dinner at home. I don't know if it's the most *amazing* recipe, or the hardest, BUT they were delish! =] Here's how to make these scrumptuous mushrooms...
You will need:
1 lb. of mushrooms (I used a mix of baby bellas and white, but you can use whatever you want)
3 cloves of garlic, minced
4 T olive oil, divided
2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. parsley flakes
salt and pepper to taste
Heat up 2 T of the olive oil over medium/medium high heat. When heated add garlic. Let simmer about 1 minute. I just grated my garlic over the oil...I love my new grater!

Add your mushrooms. Saute 5-6 minutes, stirring constantly. You may need to add a little more oil if they are looking dry, not a whole lot, you don't want them to be greasy.
In the meantime, mix the rest of your ingredients together in a small bowl. I hate when recipes say to "constantly" stir something, but wait! You have to do this over here too! I don't have 4 arms, they'll be fine for a minute...
I smashed my mushrooms up while they were in the skillet, I didn't care if they looked pretty, it was only me eating them. But, you can slice them up or buy them pre-sliced at the store. It's all up to you! =]
After the 5-6 minutes, add the sauce to your mushrooms and serve immediately. Enjoy! They are amazing, well I thought so anyways. I had never made mushrooms for myself, and I don't know why, I looove them. But, this is extremely simple and so good.
Here is our "steakhouse" dinner at home. My husband manned the grill and I cooked the shrooms. =] This will definitely be made again! Hope you love it as much as I do!

Eek!
I'm pretty excited about my next project that I plan on doing. I'm not going to say much about it, and I know this post is random! lol =] I was just bored and felt like typing I guess. So, if anyone is reading this, can you tell me what linky websites are working and free right now? I'm out of the loop and haven't obviously kept up on my linky party! =\ Oops...

Hoo are You??
Thought I'd participate this time...
1. What is your favorite summertime snack?
Watermelon by far!!! I looove it! I can eat a whole one by myself, and since it's a fruit, I don't feel one bit guilty! =]
2. Do you tan at all?
Nope, I was born fair and freckled! I can't tan even if I wanted to. I don't really care about it, so I don't get a spray tan either.
3. What is your favorite activity to do outside?
Well, to be honest I'm not much of an outdoorsy person...BUT I've just recently started getting into plants and gardening. I like my a/c!
4. Do you recycle?
Absolutely! I don't see why some people don't! In my town they give out free blue bags and you throw everything into it, so sorting at all. It couldn't be easier! I wish more people did it.
5. How hot is it where you live today?
Today wasn't that bad, maybe 80 and no humidity. Usually in the summer humidity is like 5,000%! ugh...
That's a little bit about me! Hope everyone is having a great summer! =]

So busy...
Ahh...I haven't been on in awhile to check out what everyone's doing. I've been working on my wreaths and such for an upcoming craft show! I concocted myself an *adult* beverage, been on Facebook all night, and now I'm going to post what I've been doing. My previous post had some wreaths on it that I will show again here, but they are 100% complete now, so they look a smidge different. Enjoy! =]
This is one is of my wedding colords, I love peacock feather as well.
I know we're all sick and tired of winter, but I thought this was cute.

For some reason, it's not letting me upload anymore pictures, so this is all you get! =]

Some of my creations...
Hi everyone! It's been quite awhile since I've posted anything, but I've been busy trying to get my tiny business together. The wreaths I've posted on here is what I'm trying to sell, I love doing them! I've sold a few, but am trying to get my name out there a little more. I really need to post on Etsy...anyways, hope you enjoy! =] This is an 18" bright colored Easter wreath with small egg embellishments.
This is a 10" local school colored wreath.
